{WIAW #39} Sick Day Part Deux


Hello Friends!

So I've been sick the past week yadayada boo-hoo.  Like I said yesterday in my rant, I don't wanna be too much of a Debbie-downer on this blog.

But this was food I ate to help myself feel better when I was all icky sicky.

Also, this is the second WIAW post entitled "Sick Day," thus the "Deux."  Apparently I have been joining Jenn's WIAW party for a long time!

{Breakfast} Comfort food!  Or my usual with chocolate chips on top...

{Lunch} Hot soup with spicy beanitos.  Chipolte BBQ style.
The theory behind this is that the spiciness will clear out my nasal passages. ;)

{Dessert} Some cookies made with Chobani Greek Yogurt.  Yum.  More on these lovelies later this week.
{Dinner} Really the afternoon/evening was a series of snacks...

{Snack #1} Cinnamon toast.  It sounded good so I went for it...that's what you do when you're sick right?
Ps, holes in all my bread in this loaf lol!

{Snack #2} Chips and "restaurant style" salsa.  Which means soupy salsa that only comes in medium spiciness (not my usual mild).  Just trying to clear the nasal passages. ;)


{Snack #3} Multigrain Cheerios, almonds and chocolate chips plus bedtime tea.

Also lots of diet dew with tons of ice cubes.  To soothe the throat. :)

And at bedtime I've been hanging with the sugar free drops and propping two pillows up so I can breathe out of my nose.  Winning at life, I tell ya!

Hope you're feeling better soon! My favorite sick foods are tea + honey, homemade chicken noodle soup, and I usually end up baking for some reason when I'm sick? ha. Feel better!!

haha I usually bake when I'm sick too!! I think because I'm home and I have "time" and tend to get bored. ;)
