Hello Friends!
The BF is a great shooter, as I bragged about at the end of my guest post from yesterday. (Go check it out! It's all about barefoot running from the perspective of a personal trainer!)
BF and his friend won first place in each of their divisions for doubles shooting at the Nebraska State Shoot yesterday!!

The thing is, he had to get a real job after graduating college last year.
| Check out all of the shooting supplies in the back of the trailblazer |
| He won the High Over All the last time he was here |
It's interesting, isn't it? The things we will give up for a dollar....
I can really see his heart hurting for the hobby he has loved for so many years. He absolutely loves being out there shooting those dang orange flying discs. To be honest, it's kind of fun to watch too. Relaxing, especially out here (if you don't think about how hot it is or the bugs biting your ankles).
He spent hours upon hours with his dad practicing in high school. I mean hours and hours.

The BF would also take a trip with his college group to San Antonio each year. Not only to shoot, but to cause mischief and basically be a college dude with his friends.
Boy does he love telling stories about San Antonio.
The Nebraska State Shoot, the one I've been hanging out at for the past three days, is one of his favorite shoots to attend.
He is loved by many there and it was fun watching him catch up with all of the older gentleman that tend to dominate the trap ranges. (Seriously, it's young guys and retired guys and a few in between.)
Although there's not much for me to do out there (I seriously took pictures for the entire first hour and then was ready to leave), I like to let him hang out as long as I can bear it because I know it means a lot to him.
(And then I beg him to let me go back to the hotel and shower off the thin layer of dirt that has glued itself to the sunscreen all over my body.)
I really really hope that his job settles down soon so that he can get back to the things (and people) that he loves.
He is actually currently playing putt-putt with the dudes. ;-)
Honestly, I would be there, however, we went two years ago and I'm pretty sure that is where all of the mosquitoes for the entire state of Nebraska go to breed. Think lots of standing water.
Have a lovely and blessed evening everyone. <3

Do you do what you love everyday? Why or why not?
Do you trap-shoot or know someone who does?
